Biodegradable shampoo for the eco-friendly consumer
If you haven’t already read the Tuesday’s article on Top 5 Eco Friendly Summer Events , be sure to do so. It is about eco-friendly summer events taking place this summer and fall. Green events are both fun and informative. Many offer live music while educating people on the importance of living a greener lifestyle. A lot of the eco-friendly events encourage the attendees to be as earth conscious as possible. Rothbury, for example, highly recommends bringing biodegradable soap for showering. Biodegradable soap is both good for the environment and good for you! Here is a product that I found in preparation for my attendance at Rothbury that I would like to share with all of you. I don’t have dreadlocks but this shampoo is good for all hairstyles. I found this product and immediately considered purchasing it to have a more eco-friendly shampoo to bring to the event that encourages sustainability.
This all-natural shampoo is great because it keeps hair clean while still maintaining your desired look. It is made from organic hemp seed oil which leaves the scalp hydrated and capable of growing a healthier head of locks. It uses the natural oils from tea tree, rosemary and peppermint making your hair look and smell great. Since this shampoo is made from all natural ingredients there will be no build-up left in the hair. This organic shampoo is great for people with or without dreadlocks. Really it is just a great all-natural shampoo for anyone to use. This organic hemp shampoo is 100% biodegradable so you can look good while still being eco-friendly.

Eco-friendly mango wood salad bowl is sure to mix things up for your sustainable living
I’ve decided that going on picnics is my new favorite thing (I think I’m starting to sound like Oprah). But seriously when the weather is nice there is no better feeling than gathering a group of friends and heading out to a nice park or even to someone’s backyard for good food and fun. Just last week my friends and I decided to head over to a new park that we recently discovered for an impromptu picnic. It was great we had hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, ice cream (yum!) and a delicious salad with fruit and nuts on it! My friend made it, so big props to her!
I was really impressed by her homemade salad and even cooler she brought it in this really awesome serving bowl. Now that I think about it, I think I was drawn to the salad because of the serving bowl…weird. I of course searched for it online so I could have one of my own and I really think you all will dig it as well. It is an oversized mango wood salad bowl. The chestnut finish gives it a nice polished look and the spatulas are also oversized making it easy to serve your friends at your next picnic!

Stylish Women’s Halter Top
I love fashion and I love being eco-friendly. Most of all I love when I can be eco-friendly and fashionable at the same time! A couple of weeks ago there was a post about my friend and his quest for attractive earth friendly men’s clothing and I hate to say it but there are some pretty horrendous organic clothing for women as well. However, I did find a really cute yoke neck tunic-length halter top that is eco-friendly. It comes in Caribbean blue and is made from bamboo knit. Stylish and eco-friendly, who could ask for more? Organic and eco-friendly clothing is really making a turn around and I am definitely impressed. No more potato-sack dresses for me!
